CenExel Salt Lake City is looking for healthy volunteers ages 65 and older for an investigational flu vaccine research study. To learn more and see if you may qualify, click the button below.

What to expect.

Participants that qualify for the study, may receive, at no cost, an investigational or licensed flu vaccine, study related care, and compensation up to $825 for time and travel.

This study consists of a screening/dosing visit, up to 2 follow-up visits, and up to 2 follow-up phone calls. Study participation lasts 6-8 months.

Why does CenExel SLC need Healthy Volunteers?

Volunteers are an integral part of the research process. People with a particular disease as well as healthy people both can play a role in contributing to medical advances. Medical researchers can be provided valuable information when comparing healthy volunteers with those who have specific illnesses.

Medical research continues to bring new medication and treatments to help make all our lives better. The FDA requires clinical research, trials, or medical studies, to test the safety and efficacy of these new vaccines.

The main objective during a clinical trial on healthy volunteers is safety. Medical researchers need to determine how a certain vaccine causes the body to make antibodies (germ fighters).

Without volunteers, clinical studies simply would not be possible.
