TDaP ( tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough))

If you have a healthy child 10 or 11 years of age, he/she may qualify for a clinical vaccine testing to protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough) research trial to evaluate the safety of vaccine. This vaccine is already FDA approved in children and adults 11 and older. The main purpose of this study is to see if this vaccine works just as well with children that are 10 years old as compared to those that are 11 years old.
Basic qualifications are:

  • 10 & 11 years of age
  • Male or Female
  • Healthy
  • Must have a documented vaccination history of receiving 5 previous doses of DTaP vaccine

If you qualify you may receive:

  • Study related exam
  • No cost investigational Tdap vaccination
  • Compensation up to $200 for time and travel
