Unfortunately, most people don’t have enough room in their mouth for these teeth and they must be surgically removed.  Several medications for managing the pain after wisdom teeth extraction are being studied. JBR Clinical Research is currently conducting clinical trial of an investigational vaccine to prevent bacterial meningitis and HPV infection for healthy children ages 11-16 years old. Participants that are selected for the study will receive a no cost vaccination, health care related to the study, and compensation for time and travel.

Basic qualifications are:

• 11-16 yrs years old
• Male or Female
• Healthy

• No cost investigational bacterial meningitis and HPV vaccination
• Compensation up to $250 for time and travel related to the study

If you have a healthy child 10 or 11 years of age, he/she may qualify for a clinical vaccine testing to protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough) research trial to evaluate the safety of vaccine. This vaccine is already FDA approved in children and adults 11 and older. The main purpose of this study is to see if this vaccine works just as well with children that are 10 years old as compared to those that are 11 years old.

• Must have a documented vaccination history of receiving 5 previous doses of DTaP vaccine
