Wise Up About Wisdom Teeth

Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to come in, but often there isn’t enough room for the tooth. Because of the lack of room the tooth may not be able to rise through the gums completely, this is called impacted. When the tooth becomes impacted bacteria can enter around the partially erupted tooth and may cause infection.

The American Dental Association suggest removal when the tooth is impacted or if the tooth isn’t properly alligned with the other teeth. Poorly alligned wisdom teeth can damage other teeth and fluid  an collect around the tooth partially or fully below the gum due to the improper placement.

If you need to have your wisdom teeth removed you may qualify for an upcoming clinical trial being conducted by Jean Brown research. Medications for managing the pain after wisdom teeth extraction are being studied. Candiates between the ages of 16 and 27, may qualify to participate in a study.

If you qualify you may receive:

  • Complimentary surgery
  • No cost investigational pain medication
  • Compensation up to $250 for time and travel related to the study

If you would like to be considered for this trial please fill out the form on our website.
