Many people experiencing depression have tried many antidepressant medications. They visit doctor after doctor, and have their medications started, stopped, tested, tweaked. In some cases, they get lucky and find the right combination of medication and other therapies which help them get their lives back.
But for some, their depression remains.
The thing about depression is that it’s not “one-size-fits-all”- and the medications that work for one person won’t work for another. This is why new antidepressant treatments are needed- including new drugs. Everyone experiences depression somewhat differently, and there are drugs under development which will, hopefully, improve depressive symptoms for thousands of sufferers.
At our clinical trials center, we are currently researching a variety of new and novel medications for the treatment of depression and suicidality. You might have heard of rapastinel, or esketamine, or even the Vistagen compound.
If you would like to explore how one of these new treatments might help you, then please submit the form below to inquire about participating in one of our clinical trials. We’d be glad to see which of our clinical trials is right for you.
