Sanjiv Sharma
MD, CPI; Founder and PI
Dr. Sharma has been involved in memory research since 2009. In 2013, he started AMRI as the principal investigator. Since then he has worked on over 35 memory related protocols. Dr. Sharma has his board certification in internal medicine as well as geriatric medicine. He is passionate about caring for patients and families who are worried about memory loss. Dr. Sharma graduated from Mahatma Gandhi Medical Memorial College in Jamshedpur, India and completed his residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. In 2000, Dr. Sharma opened his private practice, Geriatric Medical Center, in Toms River, New Jersey.
Anna Brocco
PharmD, MBA; Director of operations and Clinical research
Anna is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, with her doctorate in pharmacy and also a master’s in business. Throughout pharmacy school and after graduation, Anna worked at Community Medical Center as a staff pharmacist specializing in IV medication preparation. Anna has brought her pharmacy skills to the office to assist in preparing and dispensing study medications. She is committed to research and works to bring new studies to our center to provide opportunities for all patients to participate. She is dedicated to the patients and families of AMRI and works hard to ensure that everyone’s experience to our center is a pleasant one.
